Facts About Me
I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a bachelors of science in elementary education. I taught second grade at Kreutz Creek Elementary in York, PA for my student teaching. I have worked in elementary, middle, and high school settings. I taught kindergarten for my first year at Clarksville Elementary School. This is my fourth year teaching, and my third year at Forest Ridge Elementary School. In addition to public schools, I participated in an educational mission trip to Kenya. While I was there I taught grades 1-5 (math & reading).
I have several hobbies outside my love of teaching. I am an avid runner. I have been running for eight years and I have participated in 5k, 10k, and 20k races. I also love to rock climb. I have been sport climbing for 4 years and absolutely love to be outdoors! In addition to staying active, I am very passionate about music. I play the guitar and the banjo. I've been playing and collecting music for several years now.
